About Jameyya

A small, independent product built in Abu Dhabi for a habit millions of people already have.

Why it exists

A jameyya — a money circle, or ROSCA — is how families, friends and colleagues across the region have saved together for generations. A group agrees a monthly amount, everyone contributes, and each month one member receives the pot.

The idea works. The administration doesn't. One organiser ends up tracking members, turn order, who has paid, who hasn't, whose turn is next and when each payout was received — often around a hundred payments across ten months — in a WhatsApp group and a spreadsheet. That work is invisible, unpaid and easy to get wrong.

Jameyya takes that work off their hands.

What the app does

What it is not

Jameyya is a tracking tool, not a financial service.

The app never holds, transfers, invests or processes money. Every payment happens directly between members, outside the app, exactly as it always has. The group keeps full control of its own funds — Jameyya only keeps the record straight.
