What is Jameyya?
Jameyya is a mobile app that helps you organize rotating money pools (also called Jameyya, Committee, Chit, Hagbad, or ROSCA) and shared chores with people you trust — like family, friends, and coworkers.
Does Jameyya handle real money?
No. Jameyya is a tracking and coordination tool only. All actual money transfers happen outside the app, directly between members. We never hold, transfer, or process any funds.
Is Jameyya free?
Yes, the core app is free. Some advanced features may require a Pro subscription in the future. Currently, all features are unlocked for early users.
Which platforms are supported?
Jameyya is launching first on iOS. Android support is planned for a future release.
How do I invite people to my group?
Each group has a share button that opens your phone's share sheet. Send the link via WhatsApp, email, or SMS. Recipients tap the link and join in seconds — no account required to start.
What happens if someone in my pool doesn't pay?
As the admin, you have several options: send a reminder, mark the contribution as paid offline (if you received the money in person), or mark it as defaulted. If you mark it defaulted, you can choose to cover the gap yourself, reduce that cycle's payout, or pause the pool. The decision is yours — Jameyya just makes the tracking easy.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Alternatively, email support@jameyya.com and we'll process it within 30 days.
Is my data private?
Yes. We never sell your data, never show ads, and never share information beyond what's needed to operate the app. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Pro users can export full group and pool history as CSV or PDF. Useful for tax records, dispute resolution, or simply keeping your own copy.
